Types of personality:-
Human personality can be classified into a few clearly defined types. Each person depending upon his behavioral characteristics, somatic structure, blood types and fluids in the body or personality traits can be described as a certain types.
A) According to physician of ancient India :
According to physician of ancient India, all human beings are categorized into three types of personality. They are as bellow-

B) According to Hippocrates (Greek Physician) :
According to Hippocrates (Greek Physician), human body consists of four types of humours or fluids like blood, yellow bile, phlegm (mucus) and black bile. The dominance of one of these in one’s body gives particular types of personality. The types are as follows-

C) According to Kretschmer :
According to Kretschmer, all human beings are classified into certain biological types depending on their physical structure and on the basis of them, human personality are classified into three types. They are as follows –

3 | Leptosomatic | Lean and Thin Bodies. |
D) According to Seldon :
Like Kretschmer, Seldon also classified all human beings, into certain types of personality depending on their physical structure. They are as follows –

3 | Ectomorphic | Weak Developed/Undeveloped. |
E) According to Jung :
According to Jung, all human beings are classified into three types of personality, on the basis of their social participation and the interest in social activities. They are – 1) Introvert, 2) Extrovert and 3) Ambivert.
1) Introvert:
The persons in whom life energy flows inward are termed as Introvert. These type of persons seek the manifestation of their life through inner activities. The Philosophers, Scientists, Writers and similar other persons, who prefer to be busy with their own thought fall in this category.
2) Extrovert:
The persons in whom life energy flows outward are termed as Extrovert. These persons seek the manifestation of their life through activities related to the outer world. They are socially active and more interested in leaving a good impression on others. Their behavior is influenced more by physical stimulation or sensory experiences than by their inner thoughts and ideas. Politicians, Social workers fall in this category.
3) Ambivert:
Peoples, other than Introvert and Extrovert are categorized as Ambivert.
